This Pittie’s Award Winning Performance Wasn’t Enough To Stop His Mom From Trimming His Nails

Trimming his nails is very important and must be done regularly, but do you go to the vet?

If you have a pet dog, you probably know about how dogs hate being brought to the veterinarian and the groomers. They don’t like being at the vet because they remember that it’s the place where they get their shots, and nobody likes being stuck with needles.

Dogs hate groping

For the groomers, dog experts suggest that our pups hate groping. They sometimes even don’t like being groped in unusual places by their owners, what more with strangers whom they seldom see? So just like little children, they try many tricks to get them out of these situations.

I’m dead trick

In this viral video, the pit bull tried the good old “I’m dead” routine. Who would want to continue trimming someone’s nails if they fell to the ground and died for unknown reasons? However, as you have already guessed, the pittie is just trying his best to get his mom to stop.

Also, we don’t think this is the first time that he has done this. Because her mom didn’t pay attention to his theatrics, and his dad had his phone’s camera ready to record the performance. When his mom asked for his paw, he didn’t even react. It’s as if his powerful ears suddenly weren’t working.

Before he did his slow-motion dying bit, he even looked at the camera, probably making sure that all eyes were on him as he started to “die” all of a sudden. Also, when he already had his back flat against the floor, her mom continued to trim his nails.

Not falling for the trick

His dad did a close up of the pit bull’s not-so-dead face; it’s as if to say, “We’re not falling for that trick doggo.” Deceitful or not, we love the dedication shown by this pooch. If ever there was an Oscar award for dogs, this performance should definitely be nominated. See the pup’s theatrics in the video below.
