Pooch Was Anxious
Due to the bad experiences they faced in the past, some dogs find it hard to trust again. Weezy is no stranger to this narrative as the pooch went through a lot before getting adopted by a loving family. The pooch showed signs of distress in everything she sees because it reminded her of her experiences in the past.
According to Sarah Mavro, the pooch came from a hostile environment before she decided to adopt the Weezy. Sarah felt that she needed to help the pooch, so she provided the dog with a new home. It was a difficult transition for the dog, Sarah shared. She added that Weezy gets afraid of everything she sees, like toys or even books.
While Sarah does not know what to do, she assured the dog that she would be there no matter what. The woman then brought Weezy to a veterinarian to see the dog’s condition. According to the veterinarian, the dog’s actions are typical since Weezy experienced hostility in her previous life. But the veterinarian assured that with constant love and care, the dog would surely move forward with life.
Trust Came Slow
It took the dog a while to trust again, but Sarah became ecstatic when the pooch showed her other personality. According to Sarah, it took Weezy three years to finally move forward from her past experiences. This became possible when Sarah gave birth to her first child, Evan.
Weezy was utterly unaware of what Evan is, but the dog eventually had a companion. The two would often be seen cuddling with each other, and the pooch is very gentle with the baby. Sarah shared that she is happy to see the dog thriving in her new environment. Although it was a slow process, Sarah does not mind as long as the dog showed progress.
