Why are we so crazy about dogs? It is because we absolutely love dogs!
Sometimes when we see them, we do crazy things, and why not?
Dogs are family. We love them, just as we would like our brothers, sisters, mother or father.
They are an integral part of our families. Once they belong to us, we can’t imagine our life without them.
People who don’t understand the bond between a human and a dog, more likely never had one.
The unconditional love they give us, and their exceptional good nature, truly makes them a man’s best friend. Even dogs who have been mistreated or abandoned, often keep their loving nature, despite everything they have been through.
Dogs will never judge us or beat us up for the mistakes we make. They will never call us names, or hold grudges. They will always be there, right next to us, unconditionally loving. Because of their pure and innocent nature, we must protect them at all costs.
In the words of Kristan Higgins, “When an 85-pound mammal licks your tears away and then tries to sit on your lap, it’s hard to feel sad.”
Yes, we are crazy about dogs!
It’s not hard to understand why many of us would jump on top of the fence to pet that puppy mama.
So which category of a “crazy dog person” are you? The one that is showing the pictures of your dog at work to everyone (if they want to see them or not)?
Or maybe the one that has involved conversations with your dog(s) in the park?
Maybe you are the one who says, “Well, one more dog can’t hurt. We only have three. I always thought that even numbers are luckier anyway!”
I think it’s fairly clear why we love dogs! They make us happy, they make us laugh, they help us to be better people! The only time they make us cry is when they get sick or leave this world.
In the words of W.R. Purche, ” Everyone thinks they have the best dog. And none of them are wrong.”
