Taking artistic photos was the farthest thing from this lady’s mind. When she saw this mistreated mange dog. It is not often that you can read of a dog that was neglected and mistreated inspiring someone. And this one did not at first. There was just a desire to help the poor dog.

The Power of Caring

The power of a caring and loving home can transform mistrustful and neglected animals. They become delighted family members with a sense of belonging, and an example of one such case is Mowgli.

A Reddit user rachelfromearth brought the dog named Mowgli a couple of years ago into her home. Mowgli was in a miserable condition at that time. Not much was known about the pooch’s past, but the physical condition that the dog was in was not pointing towards a happy history. Rachelfromearth started taking care of the dog, and that made the pooch to blossom into his best version.

One day after grooming, Mowgli she had a random thought. Could she use all that hair for an artistic photo? She decided to implement her idea. The woman took the pooch’s fur, transformed them into something amusing, and took photos of it.

Adopting Mowgli

Rachelfromearth had adopted Mowgli in June of 2017 from Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue, and the rescue gets the majority of its dogs from high kill, high volume shelters in rural Texas. Some of these rural shelters have an intake of 100 animals per day. As a stray Mowgli was picked up by one of these rural shelters. He later ended up at Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue.

There is nothing known about the dog’s story except that he is a white German Shepherd who is around five years old.

Emaciated to Health

When rachelfromearth first saw the dog, the pooch came across as an emaciated being who was missing a lot of fur on his body and was also heartworm positive. Despite his condition, the canine had the biggest smile on his face, so rachelfromearth decided to adopt the dog.

Now the dog has grown all his fur back, is heartworm free, and weighs a solid 88 lbs.

Now, the volume of fur that comes off Mowgli in only an hour is quite large. Because of this, she came up with the idea to create artistic photos with it. She then took pictures and posted them online. The images are getting quite popular on social media.
